A colmare questa lacuna ci pensa oggi l'etichetta indipendente, che propone per la prima volta in dvd italiano una superba edizione ricca di contenuti speciali.

Ci vorrebbero anni per raccontare le vicissitudini della lavorazione di Dark Waters. Pi volte abbiamo letteralmente rischiato la vita mentre giravamo nelle famigerate catacombe di Odessa, dove il fumo delle centinaia di candele che usavamo ci ha quasi asfissiati. Inoltre non avevamo abbastanza candele e quindi siamo stati costretti a tagliare ogni candela in tre pezzi.

Il soffitto dei tunnel continuava a sgretolarsi mentre giravamo. Al mattino, trovavamo dei veri e propri macigni che erano caduti durante la notte e avevano distrutto parte del set! Inoltre, io volevo usare le croci infuocate anche nei tunnel delle catacombe. Non avevo nessun concept che in Ucraina il loro modo di ottenere questo effetto fosse avvolgere degli strofinacci imbevuti di petrolio attorno a due pezzi di legno e poi dargli fuoco! Non appena accendevamo le croci, i tunnel si riempivano di fumo e potevamo girare solo per pochi secondi alla volta! Il nostro stesso organizzatore di produzione ci rubava la pellicola e poi se la vendeva sul mercato nero.

Per quanto riguarda la mia ricerca di una forma cinematografica che racconti soprattutto per immagini, credo che agli albori del ventesimo secolo il cinema stesse sviluppando un linguaggio visivo unico e distinto da tutte le altre forme d'espressione artistica che lo avevano preceduto. Poi, con l'invenzione del suono sincronizzato, c' stata per certi versi un' involuzione di questo processo e il linguaggio puramente visivo del movie theater non ha pi avuto modo di svilupparsi come avrebbe dovuto.

Mi ritengo fortunatissimo in quanto il movie conta su una schiera di appassionati in svariate parti del mondo che continuano a richiederlo e a sostenerlo accanitamente. Inoltre, ancor oggi viene "riscoperto" continuamente da una nuova generazione di appassionati. un divan à tunis actrice. Le pre d'Elizabeth est rcemment dcd, et avant de mourir il a demand sa fille de perptuer un engagement auprs du couvent, auquel il versait des wears depuis une vingtaine d'annes.

Elizabeth, une fois sur l'le, est en proie d'tranges visions et des cauchemars lis au mystre se rattachant boy enfance, la jeune femme n'ayant aucun souvenir de ses sept premires annes. Le movie baigne trs rapidement dans une atmosphere irrelle, ds lors qu'Elizabeth s' approche de kid point de chute; d'abord dans ce bus rempli d'autochtones semblant chapps d'un asile (ils pourraient trs bien venir d'Arkham) qui la transporte jusqu'aux limites du continent.

She views an ominous routine where nun's beat themselves with whips and lay face down on the ground in some sort of pattern. The woman is then assaulted from behind by someone with a knife. Elizabeth is greeted by the nuns and required to the ancient Mother Superior who is blind and interacts through an assistant. Sarah tells her that the buddy she pertained to check out has actually left the convent and went back to London. Elizabeth exposes to Sarah that she was really born upon the island and lived there up until she was seven. Elizabeth and Sarah go to the rotting library of the convent. There they discover an ancient book with ominous images of a demonic creature.

MAINTENANT viral: Dark Waters

While Sarah is out of the room trying to find more light Elizabeth is assaulted by among the nuns. Elizabeth directly escapes when the nun accidentally falls to her death out of an open window. Elizabeth then finds an entryway into a maze of catacombs beneath the convent. There she spies on a strange procession of nuns bring burning crosses and a bloody remains wrapped in a sheet.

She acknowledges one of the faces on the wall as that of her missing buddy and realizes that the body the nuns were bring might well have been hers. The next day she sees a boat leaving the island regardless of Sarah having informed her that there would be no other way to reach the mainland for numerous days.

She also starts having strange dreams/visions. One involves seeing a crucified nun accompanied by 2 small women. Later on, she finds the beach covered by thousands of dead fish ... she starts consuming one prior to concerning her senses and vomiting (un divan à tunis arte). While wandering on the beach among the villagers reveals Elizabeth some photos of her youth on the island which include another little lady and what seems to be Elizabeth's mother, who had allegedly died in giving birth.

Their conference is disrupted by the nuns when they set fire to your house. Elizabeth escapes but the old female is hideously burned. On the other hand Sarah is shown revealing a piece of the shattered pagan amulet displayed in the painting. A nun comes up to stab her however is later shown cut to ribbons and nailed to a chair.

The old blind female starts to smear off the damp paint and reveals a demonic face beneath. Elizabeth makes her way back to the convent. There are dead and dying nuns everywhere. She is attacked by a nun wielding a big knife but she handles to eliminate her by bashing her head on the stone floor.

The blind painter is shown using the Mom Superior's blood to paint more weird images on the wall. Elizabeth is then approached by Sarah, who eliminates the top of her cassock to expose that much of her body is not human at all. She is not completely human. It is exposed that Sarah is Elizabeth's sister but that she more carefully resembles their mom.
