(likewise known as Dead Waters in the American home-video edition), is a 1994 scary movie directed by Mariano Baino, who co-wrote it with Andy Bark and likewise functioned as the editor - un divan à tunis aïsha ben miled. The plot involves a young English lady called Elizabeth, who, after the death of her dad, travels to a convent on a remote island where her mom passed away after bring to life her.
A priest is revealed in a church studying an odd ancient book. Outside there a violent storm is raging. The church begins to collapse and the priest is impaled by the spike on top of a fallen crucifix. Later a nun is revealed bearing an unusual pagan amulet to the edge of the sea.

The amulet she was carrying is smashed on the rocks but its pieces are shown being recovered by somebody who is not recognized. 20 years later a young heiress from London, Elizabeth, is taking a trip to a remote convent to visit her good friend. She is revealed on a rustic country bus that is complete of weird characters.

She views an ominous routine where nun's beat themselves with whips and lay face down on the ground in some sort of pattern. The woman is then assaulted from behind by someone with a knife. While the routine continues listed below the lady is consistently stabbed. Her blood flows into a stream which pours out over a big crucifix.
Elizabeth is greeted by the nuns and required to the ancient Mother Superior who is blind and interacts through an assistant. She informs the Mother Superior that she is there to see why her dad donated money to the convent and if she wants to continue the charity. She is supplied with a room but all her ownerships are seized till she chooses to leave.
Sarah tells her that the buddy she pertained to check out has actually left the convent and went back to London. Elizabeth exposes to Sarah that she was really born upon the island and lived there up until she was seven. Elizabeth and Sarah go to the rotting library of the convent. There they discover an ancient book with ominous images of a demonic creature.

While Sarah is out of the room trying to find more light Elizabeth is assaulted by among the nuns. Elizabeth directly escapes when the nun accidentally falls to her death out of an open window. Elizabeth then finds an entryway into a maze of catacombs beneath the convent. There she spies on a strange procession of nuns bring burning crosses and a bloody remains wrapped in a sheet.
She acknowledges one of the faces on the wall as that of her missing buddy and realizes that the body the nuns were bring might well have been hers. The next day she sees a boat leaving the island regardless of Sarah having informed her that there would be no other way to reach the mainland for numerous days.
She also starts having strange dreams/visions. One involves seeing a crucified nun accompanied by 2 small women. Later on, she finds the beach covered by thousands of dead fish ... she starts consuming one prior to concerning her senses and vomiting (un divan à tunis arte). While wandering on the beach among the villagers reveals Elizabeth some photos of her youth on the island which include another little lady and what seems to be Elizabeth's mother, who had allegedly died in giving birth.

Their conference is disrupted by the nuns when they set fire to your house. Elizabeth escapes but the old female is hideously burned. On the other hand Sarah is shown revealing a piece of the shattered pagan amulet displayed in the painting. A nun comes up to stab her however is later shown cut to ribbons and nailed to a chair.
The old blind female starts to smear off the damp paint and reveals a demonic face beneath. Elizabeth makes her way back to the convent. There are dead and dying nuns everywhere. She is attacked by a nun wielding a big knife but she handles to eliminate her by bashing her head on the stone floor.

The blind painter is shown using the Mom Superior's blood to paint more weird images on the wall. Elizabeth is then approached by Sarah, who eliminates the top of her cassock to expose that much of her body is not human at all. She is not completely human. It is exposed that Sarah is Elizabeth's sister but that she more carefully resembles their mom.
